Preparation:
- Mix 1 part Nutri-Start powder with 2¼ parts hot water.
- Use distilled or boiled water (~122°F / 50°C) and stir until the formula reaches a smooth pudding-like consistency.
- Feed when the formula cools to 104–106°F (40–41°C).
- Always prepare fresh formula and discard any leftovers after feeding.
Feeding Frequency (General Guide):
- Hatchling – 1 week: Feed every 2 hours with very thin formula.
- 1–2 weeks: Feed every 2–3 hours (around the clock).
- 2–3 weeks: Feed every 3–4 hours during the day.
- 3–4 weeks: Feed every 4 hours.
- 5–6 weeks: Feed twice daily while introducing solid foods.
- 7+ weeks: Begin weaning onto pellets, fruits, and vegetables.
Important Feeding Notes:
- Do not overfill the crop, as this can cause aspiration.
- Ensure the crop empties properly between feedings.
- Clean feeding utensils thoroughly after each use.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the bag sealed or use an airtight container to preserve freshness and prevent moisture. Use within the printed shelf-life date for best quality.
