Feed Roudybush Low-Fat Maintenance Nibles as the sole diet for your bird, without mixing with other foods or seed mixes. Offer fresh water daily, and adjust the portion so that little or no food remains at the end of the day. Transition gradually from the current diet to Roudybush pellets over 5–7 days to allow your bird to adapt comfortably.

Store the bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture to prevent fats going rancid and vitamins degrading. According to manufacturer guidelines, when stored sealed the pouch can last up to 3 years in the refrigerator or up to 6 years in the freezer. The package is also labelled with a “Use By” date, which indicates the period the food will remain wholesome if stored at normal room temperature.

Right stuff, right price, quick delivery

Other supplier kept sending my mom wrong formula. She was very frustrated. Her Amazon needs low fat for his health per the vet, and they recommend this food. I ordered this for her bird and it came quickly and was the right formula.

These pellets are probably not the most palatable - maybe because they are low fat.

I love that there is a low-fat option. Plenty of birds end up having liver problems due to eating too much people food. This seems to be a great product, but it may take a while for your bird to get used to it. Probably mixing it with other food to begin with until they get used to it might work. I don’t know that there are any other low fat choices out there. The quality seems to be above average. I think it’s a good value for the money and a good choice for low-fat options.

Vet recommended

This is not what I was had been feeding my African Grey or Cockatoo, but my vet recommended this as a much healthier diet than the pellets I had been feeding. I thought it would be difficult to change them over to Roudybush, since the appearance was so different and it didn't have a fruity aroma. But the first time I put some in with their other food, both of them ate this first. Now I no longer give the other food, they preferred this healthier food!

Great Diet Food

This is the only ace thatI can find this food for Buddy. He gains too much weight if he eats any other type of pellets.
