- Mix Roudybush Formula 3 powder with warm water to create a smooth, creamy consistency suitable for hand-feeding. The recommended starting ratio is about 1 part formula to 2–3 parts water, adjusting thickness as the chick grows.
- Always feed the formula fresh and warm (100–105°F / 37–40°C), discarding any unused portion after each feeding.
- Feed chicks when their crop is nearly empty, following the feeding schedule appropriate for their species and age.
- Transition gradually to solid foods or Roudybush pellets as the chick becomes more independent and begins to self-feed.
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture. For longer freshness, keep sealed and refrigerate for up to 3 years or freeze for up to 6 years. Allow the bag to reach room temperature before opening to avoid condensation, and discard if any spoilage is detected.
