Our chickens are obsessed with these worms. They smell like they all do with nothing too much. The chickens don't care and come running as soon as they see me coming with the cup.

You have to remember how light these are so expect a seriously good sized bag of treats for your chickens. No fillers or other debris seen. We mixed them in with their regular feed and the chickens always clean the bowl. We have noticed increased egg supply and size. The resealable bag is handy for storage, and its thicker plastic can take a tumble. Recommended for your flock!

Less than $35 bucks for over 5 pounds of meal worms ? ! This is a great deal compared to prices in the box stores around here. $35 dollars wouldn't by 2 pounds around here locally. The girls and boys (chickens and roosters) LOVE these and are a great treat. Bag is resealable as well.

We have a duck in our backyard that has decided to make it her home. We give her food like corn and duck food, but we learned early on that she loves mealworms.We wanted to try these compared to the ones we get locally. These seem to be equal in quality to those and our duck just loves them.

I've tried a few different kinds of larva for my chickens, like black fly larva, but they never really liked any of those much. They'd eat them, but not enthusiastically.They LOVE these mealworms though, jump up and try to snatch them from my hand.They're good quality, it's mostly full worms, not crushed segments or powder, and amazing value for the quantity and quality you get.

It's that time of year and our laying hens are in full molt. So, to help them we switch from BSF larvae over to plain mealworms to boost their protein intake. These do just that! And our ladies seem to gobble them up just as greedily as the BSF larvae, so that's good!

Just like you, birds love a bit of variety. Helps to attract more diverse species to your feeder. I haven't seen the bluebirds in a while but they abso go nuts for these.I'm too chicken to give them to chickens, prob b/c I don't have any. Hah.

These are cheaper than the others by a few dollars. So far the birds haven’t noticed that I went cheaper with them. I keep the feeder close to the bird houses and when it’s feeding time, mom and dad bluebirds line up to go in.

Love it when mealworms come boxed with an inner bag that prevents the mealworms from getting crushed. It will take a few weeks for the bluebirds to eat 5 lbs, so the resealable bag will keep the meal-worms fresh. Speaking of fresh, there is no strong or odd odor, and the mealworms look perfect.Great price. Mealworms cost more than soldier fly larvae, but the eastern bluebirds in my yard just won’t eat soldier fly larva (I tried a few brands a couple of times).

Not only are these dried mealworms great for chickens, the wild birds that visit my backyard feeders love them, too—especially the bluebirds and woodpeckers. I mix them with Kaytee Southern Blend wild bird food and Wagner’s black oil sunflower seeds. Very much a quality product.
