Feed Roudybush Breeder Nibles as the sole diet for breeding birds during egg production and chick-rearing periods. Begin feeding it at least six weeks before breeding to ensure optimal nutrition for egg development. Provide fresh water daily, and switch back to the maintenance formula once chicks are weaned and breeding activity has stopped.

Store Roudybush Breeder Nibles in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture to maintain freshness. For best quality, refrigerate for up to 3 years or freeze for up to 6 years, and always check the “Use By” date on the package.

Softer than other ones I bought before, that's good because birds can eat more of it than waste

Great quality for healthy birds

This is the best quality food for your birds! I raised cockatiels & parakeets. This food is balanced, high quality with no mess, unlike seed that creates mess, and attracts pests. My Birds loved it, with no fussy eaters, all ages ate very well. *TIP: mix any powdered leftovers in food dishes with mashed fruit or carrot puree, roll out & cut into different shapes & thickness. Poke hole in top with a straw to hang in cage. Sprinkle with dried greens, add in supplements, egg powder, whatever! Bake @300° until dry. Hang in cage for extra treat

This was the wrong food for my parrots.

Roudybush high protein parrot pellets are the best on the market for breeder pellets. My African Greys started eating them immediately. Did not have to force them to eat them. My cockatiels liked them too. They are a bit pricey but I believe it off in the long run.

Paid for Breeder, Got Maintenance

I would love to give this a better rating. I love Roudybush and so does my flock. But when I pay the higher price and clearly order the Breeder crumble, and get Maintenance Nibles instead, it's kind of hard to write a real review. :( I would really like my subscription to send the BREEDER crumble!

Great food and great price.

I have been using this feed for my lovebirds for years. It is convenient to use with little waste and my birds thrive. I buy a 25 lb bag and it is so much cheaper than pet stores. The extra is put into smaller bags and frozen to keep it fresh.

Lots Of Waste - Birds Don't Like The Regular Breeder

My birds do not like this food! Last year I bought the High Energy Breeder and they ate it no problem. The regular Breeder (mini, same as always) they are grinding into powder! There is SO much waste! It wasn't like this with the High Energy Breeder. This tells me they don't like it. There was very little powder with the High Energy. I'm ticked bc now I have to buy a bag of the High Energy and mix them!

I think there is something a little off about this bag of bird food. The color is much much lighter in color than the same product from Windy City Parrot.com or from the pet store. My parrot seems to only eat it well when very hungry, is it like "diet" bird food?

Great product. Always comes in fresh. Birds look fabulous :) always go will a little smaller pellet than size of bird. I raise Senegals,Meyers,IRN , white front amazons and caiques and are fed the small!
