Where did it go?

Am no longer able to find this product. "We" have loved it for many years! My African Grey isn't crazy about the substitutions so far. She eats all of my cooking/fresh which is very healthy, but she's missing her oven baked biscuits.

Unavailable

My parrot loves this product. Unfortunately, it has become unavailable on all sites. It's been difficult to transition him off of it. I don't know what the problem is, but I wish it would come back!

The bird loves it and there is no seed mess.

I tried it bc of of the mess seeds make. With this there is no mess. She loves the taste.

Seems like a good food

Nice smell to it, looks fresh, good size bites for my conure, but he doesn't seem to want to eat it. He just likes crunching it up and throwing it on the floor.

Pellet size can be an issue

My Meyers parrot loves the medium sized, so I got these for my parakeets. The pellet size is very variable, either too big or too small.

Buy this food. It's worth every penny.

This is the best bird food hands down. It doesn't come any better than this. I can feed this to my cockatiels and noticed a gradual improvement in their overall well being. They were a better weight, appeared brighter and more active, and sang more. I will not be feeding seed or any other fruity pebble looking food. Caitec has made the perfect formula. I'm glad to have found it.

I do which there was a way to convince her to eat more of the pellet and waste less, but at least...

The only pellets my African Grey will eat. I've tried every brand of parrot pellet I've found over the past 3 years, and this and Nutriberries are the only things she will really eat. I do which there was a way to convince her to eat more of the pellet and waste less, but at least she eats it.

Tasty New Food for Parrots

My many parrots adore the larger size Oven Fresh Bites so I wanted to try it on the little birds. The cockatiels haven't caught on yet but the small conures learned that these taste like cookies! yum! The size of the Small Parrot Oven Fresh Bites are varied. I think that is what is throwing off the cockatiels. However, they will eventually get the hang of it. I can always get them interested if I sprinkle it on a fresh paper on the floor of the cage. Cockatiels love to forage for food on the paper. You might also try to crush the chunks a little more by rolling over them with a rolling pin or can. Make sure the paper is clear of poop and then pick it up after the initial exploration. Great ingredients and healthy food!

Great for My Umbrella Cockatoo

I bought this for my daughter's Yellow Sided Conure and my wife's Red Sided Eclectus Parrot. I also bought the Medium Parrot size at the same time for my Umbrella Cockatoo, Buddy. Buddy is a VERY picky eater and has refused all other pellets. The Conure and Eclectus eat this but they eat other foods as well, so I wasn't quite so concerned with their diet. Since Buddy will not eat any other pellet and prefers sunflower and peanuts I needed something better for him. He immediately took to the Medium Parrot size and it is now his primary diet with some seed as 'desert' or treat. The problem with the Medium Parrot size for Buddy is waste. The way he nibbles at his food the Medium Parrot size ends up crumbling with quite a bit of waste. The Small Parrot size is the exact same ingredients and dietary analysis as the Medium Parrot, but they are essentially already crumbled pellets. This smaller size actually works well for the way Buddy likes to nibble his food - he gets more of it in him and less on the floor and bottom of his cage. I'll be buying the Small Parrot size from now on.
