Feeding Directions
- BIRDS: A pinch (1/16 tsp) per meal
- OTHER ANIMALS: Top dress animal's food with ½ tsp FAUNA FLORA per 1 cup food or 1 tsp per 1 cup food for geriatric animals.
Fauna Flora can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer. Freezing Fauna Flora puts the cells into a state of suspension, which keeps them fresh for longer. When using frozen, let it return to room temperature before using it.
Here are some tips for storing -
Container: Use an airtight container, such as glass or acrylic.
Moisture: Keep yeast away from moisture, which can cause it to mold or spoil.
Labels: Label the outside of the packaging with the expiration date. You can store in the fridge for up to four months, or in the freezer for up to six months.
Open bag: If Fauna Flora is in an open envelope, fold down the top and seal it with tape, a paper clip, or a rubber band. If it’s in a bag, press as much air out of the bag as possible, tape or rubber band it up, and then seal it in a zip-top bag.
Unopened and kept dry is good till the best by dating on the package.
