I can't say enough about Harrisons food. I adopted my blind pigeon from a shelter 15 months ago and prior to my stepping up he had been badly injured in the streets of New York City before some kind soul took him to the shelter. He spent almost six months at this shelter and when I got him last October he was very skinny and his feathers had no shine or life to them. He had a fighting spirit which is what attracted me to him in the first place. Once I took Stevie to the Avian Vet, she recommend Harrison's and I have fed him this ever since. He is like a totally different bird. He has gained weight, he is active, his feathers shine and look very healthy. Harrison's Food has transformed my baby and now although still blind, he is a strong and healthy male who flies around the room and shows off his stuff in full glory. I also give him Camellia Brand Field Peas as well as Kaytee Spray Millets as a treat now, but Harrisons food definitely is worth its weight in gold...

I have been using Harrison bird food for about 20 years big birds or little birds make them live longer. They’re healthier because it has everything in the pellets that’s good for them and what they need.

Early covid (spring 2020) I rescued a parakeet from the grocery store parking lot. The youtube channel ElleAndTheBirds recommended this food for budgies so I went ahead and gave it a shot. Mix a little bit of seed cake and millet with the food and my budgie, Kailua, loves this food. You get a good amount for the price and it always looks and smells pretty fresh. Highly recommend! (btw, he has much more toys and perches than what is displayed in the photo, I was doing a deep clean when I took it however so most things were taken out of the cage to either be wiped down or replaced)

I usually gave this food for my pineapple green cheek conure, but the pet shop I go didn't have it anymore. So i had to switch to this other cheaper brand... the store owner said the only difference is that it's not an organic. I had to buy it because we ran out of my parrot's food... My bird finish 2 bags of that but clearly didn't like it. (Always ate it last) Also my bird didn't smell like normal. My fellow bird owners will know. That dusty smell that birds have (I love that smell for some reason) also his feather didn't look shiny.
After 2 bags of trying that other brand, I just decided to order it from Amazon. And surprisingly my bird smells like normal and the feather has more sheen now. I don't think I'll switch to other brand anytime soon.
I mix this with little bit of seed mix.
