By placing a small amount of food mixed with salt-free pistachio shells in your birdŐs food bowl, this will safely and inexpensively promote foraging by allowing your bird to look for the food instead of just providing it. This will promote more physical exercise as your bird uses its beak and/or feet to remove whatŐs hiding in its food bowl! Please keep in mind that once the shells have been removed and end up on the bottom of your birdŐs cage, it is not sanitary to reuse them. |
